An indian summer day set the tone for how beautiful the weather was for this shoot!  I've known Megan for probably 4-5 years, both working as nurses, and through that time I've been able to see her family grow into an adorable family of 6!  We had a lot of good laughs during the shoot, and think we came away with some good shots of this beautiful family! Thanks Megan and Joe for letting me capture a part of your life if even for just an hour or two! 

Investment information

Currently I am offering portfolio building reduced prices!  I am hoping that these prices will allow more of you who are wanting to invest in a photo session to be able to do so affordably, and in return I will be able to have more photos to add to my portfolio!  I am taking the stance of more laid back casual sessions, one fee with as many locations, poses, dressing changes, etc you want!  That way there isn't any rush to finish a session. Once the session is complete, I will edit the pictures and give them all to you on a disc with a release.  I am located in Fort Wayne, IN, but would be willing to travel outside of the FW area for 20 cents a mile.  Am also available for travel anywhere including destination weddings, contact me for more information.  If you have any questions about the investment please don't hesitate to contact me!

Family/children session: $50  for immediate family members; add $15 for any additional extended family members.  I have a few younger children props I can bring, but welcome any other special items you wish to bring as well.

Newborn or Maternity session: $75  I will come to you to shoot your new bundle of joy, and can bring some of my own props.  Feel free to bring out any special toys, blankets, clothes, etc that would be meaningful to you in the session.  We will allow for feeding, diaper changes, and anything else the new baby needs, but please try to have the baby fed and diaper loosened prior to the session.  Having the house warmer will help the infant be more comfortable with no clothes on!

High school Senior/Engagement session: $125  Think of some special places you would want to capture in the session.  I have some ideas, but something that is special to you will be more meaningful!

Rachel, Shawn and Summer

An impromtu phone call got us to meet one monday afternoon out in New Haven's Moser park. Had a good time tromping around in the park and trying to find some good areas for the shots.  There weren't as many colors as we had hoped, but the sun gave us some good lighting, so here they are!

The Coppi Family

My first family shoot didn't really turn out the way we thought it would...well weather wise at least.  I was hoping for a nice sunny evening to capture the warm tones as the sun was going down.  Instead we got a cool windy cloudy evening, but we made the best with what we had.  I've been very critial about these and hoping they turn out ok for the family...I'm thinking I may have been looking at them too long.  Anyways, here are a few of them from our cool windy evening shoot. 

Utterback's family shoot

Had the chance to spend a couple hours with one of my good friends from work and her precious family this weekend out at her house in the country!  The weather was beautiful and the area had so many spots for some great pictures!  Aydia, their 3 yr old, was so cute and so much fun to photograph...a natural!

Sweet Eliot

My sister asked me to watch little Eliot for a couple hours this weekend and I couldn't turn her down!  After his nap it was too nice outside to pass up a good photo opportunity!  So out we went with Jasper, my puppy, with some toys in hand. Eliot was having a blast just chillin in the backyard, while I got some great shots!  Mommy and daddy showed up and of course had to get some with them too!

A day with Brooklyn

Brooklyn is one of the sweetest little girls I've met!  She is so full of energy, laughs, and pure silliness!  We took her to the playground this spring and boy did she have a blast! You can just see it on her face!  This is one of my first shoots with my new camera, with pretty much no editing.  I had a lot of fun playing with the settings and using my dad's 100mm lens!

 

Around town

Last summer/fall a couple friends and I walked around downtown and found some fun places to get some good shots! This was before I got my more professional camera, but still had fun with my Rebel!!!
